We designed the key visuals for the ZIPPO Chinese Zodiac collection. Since the lighter was an existing product, our brief was to envision visuals that would make the lighter more dynamic and catch the consumers' attention based on the lighter's design. We carefully examined the lighter's design, which featured 12 zodiac-themed mechs, each with unique structures. So, we decided to imagine what each character might look like based on the patterns on the lighter, bringing them to life and forming a "league." Some zodiac signs required adjustments to their poses as their natural movements didn't suit the composition of the key visual. Dealing with mech structures posed a challenge for our illustrators, but overall, it was an interesting experiment!
